Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 6am to 12.30pm.
Duties to include:
- The fit-out of vehicles (panel vans, cars, 4x4s..) as part of a team
- Ability to follow fitting instructions, ensuring that work carried out meets the required specification, quality, and timescales.
- Assemble vehicle components accurately according to technical specifications and assembly instructions
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly processes
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Assist in the installation of mechanical parts, fittings, and systems within vehicles
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any issues or defects encountered during assembly to supervisors promptly
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers
- Experience with power tools relevant to vehicle assembly tasks
- Previous experience in assembly work is essential
- Experience with vehicle conversion is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently within a team environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety procedures
